Memphis Water:the champagne of waters

By Jen

My favorite estate sale find of the day. No idea how old it is, but I couldn’t resist.

“A genuine, pure, artesian water, renowned for its excellent clarity and taste, from the deep wells of the Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division, Memphis, Tennessee, U.S.A.”

Seems like this may have been a promotional item. Anyone know the origin?

By Jen

June 27 – next Wednesday – will be the last day.

Mad Man season five: a GIF retrospective

By Jen

Woman drinking liquor

I’ve rounded up 25 of the best GIFs from Season 5. Of course I’ve got a few of Pete Campbell getting punched, Roger and Lane mocking Megan’s Zou Bisou dance, “Fat Betty” doing what she loves most, Joan’s “SURPRISE! THERE’S AN AIRPLANE HERE TO SEE YOU!,” the return of Paul Kinsey, Roger on acid, Megan wolfing down sherbet, and a few others. Enjoy, and if you have any you think I’ve missed, feel free to post in comments.
