Get Stuffed on the street of Memphis

Last week I was driving to work and saw an unfamiliar food truck. After a little Twitter investigating I found out Stuffed is the latest addition to the local food truck scene. They just started serving this week, and were at Ridgeway Center today with the Stickem truck. I like to patronize the trucks when they’re new because I feel like I’m helping them get off to a good start. They’ve only been around for less than a couple years and already we’ve seen a few good trucks fail. So I passed up Taco Bell Doritos Locos Cool Ranch tacos to check Stuffed out.

I ordered a burger, fries and three empanadas for Brian and me to share. With a Coke the total came to $24.

We ended up with way too much food. As you can see above, the burger is gigantic. It’s half a pound, with Tillamook cheddar, caramelized onions, bacon and a special “sooie” sauce. This alone was enough to fill us both up.

We finished most of the burger, the fries, and about half the beef empanada before giving up and putting the rest in the fridge. I took the two empanadas to work and, well, I think I may have found my new favorite delivery vessel for barbecue pork. The empanada had slaw in it! Brilliant! They reheat well, too. Definitely check these folks out if they’re in your part of town.
